Re: Anyone else thinking this is going to be one $$$ fall?

@diamondscribe

Thanks for responding. I'm usually an XXS which seems to sell out quickly. I'd hate to miss out on the orange. Seems I've been buying a lot of neutrals lately so a rich orange Iike that is appealing. I think I'll order that and then perhaps do a check hold on another color. I've never done that before. Do I actually have to pay by check then or can I pay by credit card?

I would still like to hear your opinion of it once you get it. I don't know whereabouts in FL you are or how chilly it gets where you are, but I'm in the Tampa area. Can get chilly but don't need a lot of warm clothes.

Off to place my order so I can stop dwelling on it! Lol.

@crazycockermom, if an item is on check status, you can easily switch to credit card. I've even had the easy pay offer show up once I go to edit the payment method to a card.

I'm in Destin in Northwest FL, so we get around 2-3 weeks a year of coat-cold weather. We definately do get cool evening wind off the gulf from December-February. But, typical Florida style, it drops to 40 and half the folk are wearing puffer jackets and/or shearling UGGs, LOL. Craziest thing is to see cotton sundresses with the UGGs in December. But, that's what I like about FL - anything goes. I do travel to Tampa and Orlando for business, so I'm familiar with the temps. I'd say the English knit would work since it is cotton. I also zoomed in close before ordering to see how coarse (thick) the ribbing was and I think it looks like it will be lighter weight than some "Shaker Knit" sweaters I've purchased from other stores. Those were way too warm for me. But, it still is tough keeping that image and feel out of my mind when looking at the LDO one.

@diamondscribe

Thanks for the info about how check status works! Definitely good to know.

I laughed when you said when it drops down to 40 people wear their puffer jackets and UGGs. While I don't do UGGs, I do have some boots and other cold weather items from when I lived in Virginia for a few years. I hate to part with them so I do wear them whenever I get the chance. I think others must do the same - they so look forward to wearing these items so they wear them first chance they get, even if it looks a bit ridiculous.

I'm hoping you're right about the sweater not being too thick. I remember having shaker sweaters back in the day. Hope these cotton ones aren't as warm. Within a week we should know!

Have a good weekend!

My credit card will be jumping and the fact they are adding so many new show will just double my pleasure.  Lately with the exception of some Armani stuff for dressy occasions, my daily wear is Linea.  Everyone always tells me how great I look when I wear Linea.  How can we all bear three hours in one day in October!  Thanks you Louis for creating so much excitement with your loyal followers.
