I like Louis's Caramel more.  Of course, Mrs. Clooney's trench might have been described as Beige or Mushroom.  Still, it's the same general idea presented in the new Linea Caramel trench.

Yes - I agree - I like Louus’s Caramel more - it’s deeper and richer than the photo here (which is a great photo).  

Red is a perfect accessory coloyr for Caramel - also for the Black and Red Trench Coats.  

Cant wait for the Trench Coat to get posted!

It looks like a camel hair wrap coat. I really wouldn't call this a trench since it doesn't have all the trench details. Apples and oranges to me. It is a beautiful simple coat, and the camel does look great with that orangy red.

I agree, Marilyn.

It was 2:00-ish in the morning and I just quickly responded to the general look.  This morning I awoke thinking that it is not a trench at all.

The "look" of the trench is there, though, for someone tired and being spontaneous.

I was just happy to see something suggesting the look of the new Caramel coat.

Amal's coat is not a trench.  It looks like a regular coat - probably cashmere.

No @golding76, no need to feel that way! It's a beautiful photo and a lovely rendition of the color (s)that we have available. Identical, not exactly but that doesn't keep me and others from appreciating how well they pair together. It's called conceptualizing. And this fine photo does a fine job of allowing those of interest to visualize a potential future outfit. I thank you for sharing! ♡♡♡

Thank you, rochelle.  You're a sweetheart and you got my drift, as they say.

As I wrote, though, I sensed there would be a dissection and parsing of my post during a sleepless night last night.  Bad tuna salad from my grocer's deli?  Anyway, while I lay awake last night, I thought carefully about all this and knew that I interpreted too broadly "Caramel" and "trench" coat for some.

What I sought excitedly to post was that once again Linea gave us something close to a look that Amal Clooney is wearing right now.  I, for one, admire her style.

(I also love that she reuses her handbags often; the one she is carrying is one of my favorites.)
