A343439 Open Front Cardigan

This cardigan was the only piece from my stash that arrived today. I ordered this in dark forest green and caramel. The green arrived and I immediately tried it on. It is a lovely sweater, but it is very oversized on me. I ordered the xxs and the sleeves came to my knuckles. Not a deal breaker since I am used to cuffing sleeves, but it came to just below my knees as well and is just too big all over. I tried belting it which made it look better, but it really is just too big. Wish it had come in petites. I hoped this would work nicely with my wk dress in the dark forest green, the wk turtle neck, the ponte pants and the faux suede pants all in the DFG. Looks like I will be returning both these sweaters -- so sad. I'm sure it will look lovely on those who are not as petite as me.

I also ordered the forest green. I thought they might run a little big so I ordered a M which is my usual size and a S. I received both yesterday and they both went back today. I am so disgusted with the sizing that in no way matches the size chart they show. The M was Huge!!!! I thought they had sent an XL by mistake but it was a M. It was swimming on me and the sleeves completely covered my hands (and I am 5'7"). The same with the Small. Both were so large and the sleeves were also cut unusually roomy. I don't mind if the sleeves are a little long as they can always be cuffed. But this was ridiculous. I never had the body of a cardigan that was supposed to be a M fit like this, nor a S for that matter.

So it's not just me. I agree @lovesallanimals this sweater is very oversized. I'll be returning both of them on Monday when the caramel one arrives. Hate spending money to return just for trying them on.

How tall are you? I am 5'3" and I am concerned that the open cardigan will be overwhelming.

@culebra I am only 5'1" so it may be ok for you. The xxs on me was much too big all over on me.

I'm sorry they didn't work for you @Biftu and @lovesallanimals. When I saw the sweater on Mary Beth and saw where those patch pockets landed on her hips, I knew it wasn't for me. Would have loved the caramel to go with the T-neck and faux suede pants, but I knew it would sit in my closet because it would make me look squat every time I tried to wear it. Now, if we eventually get a WK Swing cardi in caramel, I'm all over it!

I didn't order it but I thought it was sized similiar to A287608 which I do own in the black and red.

I just remembered the sleeves were shorter................

Today I received the Dark Forest Green in size large. As I'm an 18, I should have taken an XL. But indeed this sweater runs big as the size large is plenty generous on me. The front pieces meet in the middle easily. I am only 5'3" with short arms, but find the sleeve length fine with just one roll up as a cuff. The pockets are maybe a tiny bit low for me, but my hands reach in without super extending.

The green color is wonderful, very dark.

Sweater is lightweight but not thin. I don't really like shaker stitch and the furry fabric looks like pilling.

I received my Caramel xs today. Other than cuffing the sleeves, I'm fine with the fit. Pockets are easily accessible, no reaching. I love the length and the overall look in general. This color is a rich neutral and will be looking at the accessory options I have available. I do like the ribbed texture and find this cardi soft and lightweight.

I'm ordering the DFG!
