What a lovely gentleman.  It was so kind of him to call out those by name who supported him and his line, even the models and hosts presenting them.

It's clear everyone in his life is of major importance, not to be selfishly sidelined. You don't see such lovely old school behavior much these days.

His letter made me sad though. It's clear this is a very difficult termination for him. I hope he finds that, wonderful 'NEXT,' that helps fill the void. He deserves it.

I lived in LA for many years, it's not 'all that' and it's certainly not a 'fashion hub', LOL!

The general populous would never pay $60 for a thin t-shirt or a sweatshirt that pills after 5 washings and the people with 'money' wouldn't be caught dead in them.

And I dare ya' to look around and find ANYONE wearing 'affirmations' on their clothes, unless they're under the age of 7.

@KingstonsMom

JMHO --- Hollywood changed ---movie stars became less glamorous and the actors put less of a focus on fashion and California lost much of it's luster ........

The only words of affirmation I see in clothes is for sports teams........

Nice of you to reword and explain to others, although I knew what you 'meant', since I live in the hot, humid South (coastal GA)!

@KingstonsMom

Yep, glad you understand....here its short sleeves or sleeveless tops, capris, shorts, sundresses....and jeans....Its been in the mid or upper 70's here the last few weeks.... Now theres an artic front due in by Sunday (highs in the 30's low in the 20's and teens possible wintry mix)...and people will bring out their coats, sweaters, and jackets....but then in a few days we will be back to wearing warm weather outfits again......thats how we roll in our "seasons"...LOL

Thank you for Louis' message.  I wonder why he won't market his line through other outlets.  Is QVC the only clothing retailer?

Same here, my 'winter coat' is a sherpa lined denim jacket if it's really cold, LOL!

Although, I am one who is always cold with A/C in stores/restaurants, no matter how hot it is outside, I carry a long sleeved denim shirt for those environments.

Sounds like we have the same "winter coat"....LOL

I understand there are some places that BLAST their A/C where perhaps a long sleeve alternative would be needed...(the movie theater restroom for one--perhaps to discourage folks for staying long or using the stalls as "phone booths"--but the movie theater itself was a bit warm--go figure)....One of my friends who works in an office, she complained because a co-worker brought in his own portable A/C unit (it was too hot for him with the thermostat set at 78) she always pictured one day seeing snowflakes in the office it was so cold....their Manager finally made him get rid of it...LOL

I believe some of the 'Linea Ladies' said that his manufacturer is retiring.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!😉

Thank you for posting.  I looked for this post on Louis' blog site but didn't find it.
