Timeless Spackle Skin Primer

Just won for best primer.  Is it really that good?  I've never tried it so I thought I'd ask you Laura Geller ladies.  Please share!

@SurferWife - I haven't tried this particular one, but I love Laura's Spackles! I was on AD for them and have three right now - Champagne (my favorite, sometimes I wear this without any other foundation), Ethereal, and Original. I don't think you'll regret trying this!  Smiley Happy

I bought a huge container years ago, used it a couple of times, couldn't see it did anything, threw it away.  Just another cosmetic gimmick.

Re: Timeless Spackle Skin Primer

It always "balled up" on my face.  I've tried some newer brands recently that work much better.  They leave a nice, smooth feeling and do what they are supposed to do -- stay put so you can layer your foundation on.

Re: Timeless Spackle Skin Primer

It is that good.  I have used it for years and in the summer it is often the only thing I use.  In the cooler months...without a little color on my face...I mix it with a few drops of LG liquid radiance foundation.  I do mean a few drops...maybe two.  It goes on like silk and gives just enough coverage.  It lasts a long time both on my face and the supply I have.  You look a tiny bit fairer than I, but I think you will like it.

Bought it once....LG says it's like using Spackle to fill nail holes on a wall.....and I agree.  Found it heavy - thick- hard to spread - made me look older.

I have nice skin - don't need a layer of goo.

@SurferWife here are my two recommentations for a primer.  Urban Decay Optical Illusion primer and one I received as a sample from Sephora that I absolutely love is Stellar Brilliant Primer.  These are light and leave a nice foundation down to apply make-up or just a powder.

@PhoebeDragon1

Thank you!  This one is her newest forumula.  I checked out her website before purchasing & it gets glowing reviews.  I think what intrigued me was the other brands it was up against on the beauty awards show last night.  I value QVC beauties' opinions so if it won over others like Tatcha (which I have & use) & other big name brands, it might be worth a try.  I like that some of the reviews on her website said it looks good on no-makeup days, too.  It's only $26, so it's worth a try.
