As a trial lawyer, I am wondering how the Q will be compensating the vendors. I also think the hosts get something for the # of sales on their shift. Since the down time can be for a whole day, not a few minutes, significant loss occurs. (Note I am not wondering WHETHER they will be compensated; contractually, they must.)
Ugh. Thinking about contracts on my day off makes my head hurt. I do that all week long.

1Professor, I'm curious about that as well. I'm sure vendors are definitely losing money these past few days. it would sure be nice if the Q compensated customers as well....like free s&h on every order or something (for starters). Dare to dream!

@1Professor I couldn't even begin to surmise about how everyone is compensated (hosts and vendors) without see the actual contract. There are way too many variables/possibilities. All I can say is the bottom line is they have to be losing sales, and Amy needs to stop telling people to use automated ordering as the way to go!
She can, if instead she says "it's the way to get frustrated, both ordering and when your order never arrives."

When I never got my "sales tax to be determined" order and Melvin was trying to help me, he told me if the tee I'd ordered ever came back in stock of course QVC would honor the LTS price I'd ordered at. Well, that didn't help, it never came back into stock.

And I think I just heard her (Amy) say, yet again, a couple of minutes ago that we can order any way and everything is working fine or something along those lines. Nothing online is working.

I noticed both Amy and Lori keep looking towards the camera where the sales monitor is that shows how well a product is selling. They must be surprised to see low sales as no one can order on line. ( Im just guessing)

I'm watching from my computer and the information for the top being shown right now is for Perricone. What???

@Pearlee wrote:Ha! They couldn't get rid of that tie-dye ruffle hem top that got bad reviews.
Now it's got a reduced birthday surprise price.
It seems like they are spendnig an incredibly long time on this top, and also on the cardigan before it.
I heard Amy say ordering is fixed and back up now.
Edited to add: Nope...It's not working!
