LOGO Inventory! The necessary but daunting task.

Logo sisters!

@Pearley @Mellie2 @Hipplified @Biftu @dulwich @Suziqzee @Peg @Pecky @SFGIANTSGIRL @Trudey @Sweet Charlotte @Peaches McPhee @divine @Debzzz @Justice4all

No matter how organized I've been with my Lori Goldstein collection, I realized this morning that I really have little idea about how much I owned. I even purchased several closet organizers that allowed me to avoid drawers (where you can't see what you own) and keep folded items folded:

Took a page from Marie Kondo's book

that advocates, effectively, taking everything out and putting it on the floor (before deciding what to keep, what you are no longer drawn to, what no longer gets chosen).

OMG!

Piles. Piles. More piles.

1. Overwhelmed by the quantity, now fully visible.

2. Realized my style preferences have changed, just over the last 5 LOGO years.

But they were lovely piles.

More and more I choose outfits centered on LOGO, even for teaching, not just play. But great choices were invisible. So many denim jeans, but I adore them and they fit SO well (resulting in now donating other jeans I never choose).

Hours later, my closet now shows everything I truly love, with places (yay!) for a few NEW items (like that upcoming denim jacket).

Lovely bags of clothes for my favorite donation center (called LeftOvers, supports a crisis center).

Love to hear how anyone else is managing their growing Lori wardrobe!? Please share.

I like those hanging shelves @1Professor! I am off next week for winter break and my plan is to color code and move out the pieces I do not wear often. You have inspired me to start today. I know it's time when I look at the LOGO pages and see tops or pants that I have hidden in the closet I forgot I had. Smiley Happy

@1Professor,  I purchased two very similar shelving units to hang in my closet back in the fall when I was organizing.  It's great for all of the tanks that take up too much room on hangers!  I love it and when folded neatly one can see all of the tanks at a glance!

ETA:  I also added a pair of those round push button stick on lights which is right next to the hanging shelves near the wall.  Lots of Logo colors  are somewhat similar and my closet isn't as bright as I would like.  Those lights help me to see the colors more sharply.

I would love to have a few of those but they maybe too long for my closet. I have shoe cubes taking up the bottom of my closet Smiley Sad  Logo is definitly out of control in my closet, lol

@SFGIANTSGIRL  I think that may be a common issue for those who post in this subforum.  Smiley Happy    LOL!

Now you can keep new pieces coming!  Woman Happy  I learn a lot from reading here.  I need to purge my closet too.   And really, more of my things would be folded instead of hanging up.  Have a blessed sunday Pearley!

@1Professor  What a good idea these hanging shelves.  We are moving and downsizing too so these could work on new home.  Been sorting out my Logo and have too much - if things are more on view be easier to discard what I do not wear thus giving me more space for more new!  Gonna check these out.  Thanks for idea.
