All the appiances they use on cooking shows for demostrations go? They can't sell them as new because they have cooked inside them. Does it go to a QVC outlet store? I always wonder what happens to them.

Could be the outlet stores, could be "as is," or could even be offered at a discount to employees. Could even wind up on ebay as other QVC merchandise does.

Maybe they shelve them till they show that product again...then bring them out for another airing...no need to get rid of a pan...bowl...etc when they repeat so many things anyway...

The appliances all go home. They make a stiff drink, put their feet up in their recliners, order takeout pizza and relax. It's been a long day for those appliances....lol

They "may" have a private rummage sale for employees. Some hotels do this with china, etc.

I would think that they get cleaned up & put away until the next showing of the appliance!!

Considering there are just a few of them as opposed to the THOUSANDS they sell, I think they probably deduct them and get rid of them, whether up for grabs, donated, or simply pitched out. I wouldn't think they would store them--with all the shows and appliances the space would cost far more than the items themselves.
They are demo products, and the cost is written off anyway.

Some appliances go to the outlets. I bought my KA Professional 5 plus stand mixer and Keurig there. They were one of a kind items in the store. The Keurig came without the K cups but was priced accordingly. I think Q employees get first dibs on such items and what may remain goes to an outlet store or to a wholesaler for resale. When we has a Tuesday Morning store nearby, I often saw discontinued Q items for sale there.

A couple of years back when Q was off the air in observance of Christmas, Shawn K. and another host gave a behind the scenes video tour. EVERYTHING ever presented on air- every shape, size and color- is painstakingly catalogued....I don't remember how many football fields the warehouses take up, but it's a lot. If museum curators can't find jobs in museums, hey should probably apply for the Q!!
