good morning everyone. very cold this morning were at 19 degrees and waiting for snow to begin later this morning. we went to my brothers house yestauday and they ordered pizza. i allways love pizza and on the way home last night we picked up burger king. hope everyone has a great month and im sure there will be alot of cookimg and baking.maria starts baking cookies on december 12.

Tonight we are having marinated skirt steak in a garlic Worcestershire sauce, potato wedges with garlic & sea salt and fresh asparagus. For dessert...chocolate cake. My kind of dinner...easy & good - I am looking forward to it!

I'm defrosting a chicken breast, and hot turkey sausage. I'm going to cut them up and sauté them wit lots of peppers, onions,mushrooms and dump in can of tomatoes. Then I'll round it out a bit with a half jar of Rao's spaghetti sauce. We'll have it over pasta. It will be a nice change from Thanksgiving fare. We are expecting a pile of snow starting this afternoon. The walks are a glare of ice from some AM freezing rain.I'm in for the day, and maybe tomorrow too.

I made 2 crossaint bread puddings--one plain and the other pumpkin spice pecan----wow!!! so good!!! will try a savory one next.

Pork chops, corn, scalloped potatoes and crescent rolls. I need to clear out some space in my freezer for a Schwans delivery, plus the ham we get from work.

We didn't have Thanksgiving leftovers (my favorite part) so tonight I am making 2-3lb Butterball boneless breast and all the fixings to go with it. Rutabaga, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberries, asparagus, gravy, stuffing ,etc. Can't wait .....

there should be leftovers. Christmas will be Prime Rib.

Thanks Pooky1 - it seems my brain more often than not takes a hike from me. What can I say.

We are due rain tonight and tomorrow AND added cold weather again.FINALLY got my spinning vents on the roof covered. I usually have that done in late October but it was so darn hot - now I got caught off guard but they are in place as of today. Yeah!!

It is just 5 o'clock here in Sou Cal but I am ready to call it a day. I must really be getting old.

Zapped me two White Castle burgers in the microwave. Not my idea of a complete meal but they are good and I am super lazy right now.

Tonight it was a pound of leftover smoked turkey, three cans of beans, some tomato paste and canned tomatoes, some spices, close up the pressure cooker and half an hour later, the best chili DH and I have ever eaten! Yummmmm......
