good morning everyone.wow allready may 1st.  may is starting off down here cloudy and crappy looking. hope alot of awesome food is cooked this month. have a great day everyone.

Nothing.    I need to get in shape to wear my bikini.

Lots of fresh fabulous veggies appearing in the stores so we are focusing our meals around them.We had a stir fry last night.

I thought DH was going to another game last night, he went Monday, but he came home at the usual time and told me it is tonight he won't be home for dinner, so at 7:30 I had to decide what I could cook, then remembered that I was going to make porchetta hash tonight, so made it last night instead, he was happy, three eggs on top, lol. his favorite food, along with cheese, pixxa, and hamburgers.  

I had just finished bathing both dogs for their nail clipping today, and was so tired, so was not happy to see DH, lol.

Last night I made Roasted Lamb Loin seasoned with Olive oil, shallots, thyme, marjoram and parsley;
Roasted Yukons, Carrots & Cherry Tomatoes, (Laura Calder recipe)
Sautéed Mushrooms and Shallots.
Served with a lovely 2008 Dusky Goose Pinot Noir.
I got the lamb a little overcooked but, it was still okay;
I think I need to recalibrate my oven.

Beautiful 83 degree day here in southern WV.   Love having windows open and ceiling fans turning.

Hubby and I are home alone for a few days. I found a package of ground round in the freezer, and with the help of brown gravy turned that into “skillet surprise” that went well with mashed potatoes and peas!

Lucky me.  My DH is cooking this May!  I'll eat whatever he feels like preparing.
