piperbay, I think it would very greasy, because of the duck. And maybe bad for cholesterol if eaten on a regular basis, but at the holiday so would a goose. But on a holiday in moderation it would probably be Okay.

Shogirl2, Next time hide a little back when you cut it up, just before you set it out to serve.

I don't have a clue what it is and now that I've read your post,  I really don't want to know.  You're hilarious!  lol

Turducken is awesome.  Pronounced tur-ducken.  It is part turkey and part duck.  It is an extremely moist dish.  Food Network is where I learned to make my own.  It is a beautiful dish to present for any occassion.  10 stars

I was curious enough to Google it and thought it sounded very good.  I'd like to try it.  The duck ought to moisten the turkey and chicken.

I've eaten it at a relative's house a few times and enjoyed it.

I don't think I'd like to make it myself, though. It's expensive, expecially compared to turkey.

The thought of it grosses me out so much I don't even think I could give it a try.
