It certainly is NOT "charitable" to expect the needy to eat expired or contaminated food.

1. show starts with cooked or open food on the counter
2. they show you what your going to get
3. samples of food are out for display
4. the host and guest open more of the item from sealed containers to show you again, wasteful.
5. they are breathing over it, touching it and having long hair dangle over it
6. the hosts and guest touch the samples displayed pulling them apart and even place some touched items back into the common bowl, seriously!!
What is done with this amount of food that you seem to handle and open each presentation? Does it go to a food bank, shelter, homeless group?
This is honestly disgusting to watch at times and makes one sick to think that it is now all waste due to the marketing strategy you use.
There are things called tongs, rubber gloves, hair tie backs that can be easily incorporated into these shows that will show viewers the high level of food responsibilty that you should have
@louisiana Do you honestly think that at restaurants, schools, hotels, and our houses that every scrap of food is used and nothing gets old, isn't eaten, or is otherwise discarded?
You can't mail your scraps from home to someone, there are rules about what can be repurposed, and this is an insignificant amount of food in relationship to what they sell when assessed against local restaurants, school cafeterias or grocery store. Do you eat every bit of food you buy? Every last scrap?
You should not watch tv, and don't peek in the dumpster at the end of the day for a grocery store or restaurant, or how much dog food goes uneaten.
Also, acquaint yourself with laws and regulations about food donations, and check into what food pantries and free meal sites near you need and use, and will and won't take. Ask them what raw meat they would take as a donation. Most want cash anyway these days.

Interesting that this "new" poster has signed up today just to complain (at length) about the food presentation, the hosts' style of presentation and even the sizing of clothes for "petite" women.
Three new threads and all complaints. Hmm.

@louisiana - I suggest you stop watching QVC. It's clearly causing you stress or anxiety.
You said it's making you "sick". Best to find a different way to spend your time.

Why would you expect this food to be donated? Would you eat food that's been sitting under hot lights for hours? Or had been touched by an assortment of people? Or was not sanitarily handled? The homeless aren't less-than and deserve the same quality food you and i eat.
Instead of complaining, fix a giant lasagne and take it to a shelter.
It's the cost of doing business.

I've noticed 6 new posters within the last week and every one of them has started off with a complaint.

Years ago I read an article where a restaurant wanted to give the left over food to the homeless at the end of the night.
The powers that be would not allow it. It was prerfectly good food that went to waste.
Most of the time our government officials have no common sense.

Wow! Welcome to the QVC "forum" where offering an opinion, a thought or even your own viewpoint will get you a sharp response! 😂 There are the same handful of contributors here, that like to..."educate" those of us that post any form of a thought or point of view. You can rest assured that they will tag team you and keep you in line! Apparently the definition of what a forum is, has escaped them. Seriously, welcome to the QVC Forums. I hope you never let anyone silence you, or tell you that "Maybe this isn't the forum" for you. Keep on postin'!!! 😉

Wow I'm so glad I'm not a germaphobe.

Another "hit and run" poster that will never be back complaining about something that has been talked to death.
