I was really excited about the TSV, and was considering getting two sets. I liked that it was on 5 easy payments of $19.99. But then I saw the $18.97 S & H. Wow! Really? We are going to add on nearly another 20% for just shipping? I don't know now. We are playing the sales game. Let's say $99.96 instead of $100. It looks so much cheaper. Let's say $19.99 instead of $25.11 which is what people will really be paying for 5 months. And oh by the way it's actually 4 cents cheaper to do the 5 easy payments because the one payment option is $125.59 not $125.55. I want to be fair. Maybe it really does cost $18.97 for all the styrofoam/packaging plus shipping. But it probably just costs half that which is why if you buy two sets they can afford to give you a "deal" on the S & H. Well rather than pretending to give me a deal on the S & H I would rather pay what it really costs to ship my item/s. Oh wow, I just took another look to see if it says how much the TSV weighs so I could do some research on what is reasonable in shipping costs and I saw that it says made in China. Are we paying for the product to be shipped all the way from China? I am going to have to really, really think about how much I want this set. It is a nice product. It probably is worth $125.55 or $125.59 depending on how you choose to pay for it. Maybe not really a good TSV deal, but probably not over priced either.

Easy pay,as far as I know, is not to get the TSV(or any other item) for less, it is offered for those that want to stretch the lower payments out over several months and not one big payment. Some can budget their money easier that way! And paying $25.11 each month for this TSV is not that much at all, guess it all depends on if you want it or not. Everyone is different, some people will pay $7-$8 s&h for a sweater or pants or a piece of jewerly and think nothing of it. TT is heavy ceramic bake ware and with this many pieces, I am sure it will be pretty heavy so $18.97 S&H for 18 pieces is really on the low side, IMO.
And since you like to break the $$ down, getting 18 pieces for $125.59 averages out to about a little less than $7 a piece!
I know when I sent a package thru USPS, it has gotten out of control. The last 2 packages I sent to a relative in CA. it was about $15 for sending it! One was a couch throw that weighed less than a couple of pounds but because of the "zone" it was going to, and the size of the box, the cost for shipping it was crazy! If it hadn't been a Christmas gift I would have told the guy to forget it & left!

Not interested...but if I were buying it, the shipping is #%*&
.
Take a look at what sellers are asking for S&H on ebay for Temp-tations! Some have one baker for $19.99 and s&h for 18.98!! And usually TT sells for more than what Q customers pay here!

Old World is ugly, boring, and worn out. Enough already.

pamk66, I hope you let us know what you think about this set when you get it! Harvest is a great pattern and if I needed another full set od Temp-tations, I would probably go for Harvest!

LOL, this thread reminds me why I rarely open TT threads any more.
I love my OW personally, it's hand painted and she tells you in every demonstration that it's not 'perfect' Not sure what's so hard to understand about that.
I have hand painted Christmas bulbs from Sweden. I paid a lot for them and they weren't perfect either.
