I recieved my silicone popcorn poppers a few days ago. I had planned to give a couple for Christmas gifts at an under $25. exchange. I am going to keep all three! I may purchase more for gifts though.

They are perfect for just one or two.I popped it totally without butter or oil and it was crispy and terriffic. My dog is upset though as she doesn't get nearly as much thrown to her.Smiley Happy

I wanted to write a review on the review page but it was 'wonky' and just kept circling around. These are 5 star IMO.

Re: silicone popcorn poppers

@okaywitheasypay : I bought mine from AMZ last year. Love it!

Bought more for my kids' homes. I think these are a perfect gift at a great price- just add a bag of popcorn and maybe a seasoning shaker.

Great gift for the college student, including the one on my list. Thanks for the reminder.

I may have to buy a couple more for this year's holiday season as the gift budget will be greatly reduced from previous years, and that budget was already low.

@santorini   Thank you!  I hadn't realized they were individual-sized.

Yes.  I still use that old glass container for my larger sized microwave popping.  I'm struggling to think of the name of it but I bought it at Q.  It's glass but has silicone handles and design over the glass so you don't burn yourself getting it out of the microwave.

Edited:  Found it on Amazon.  Brand name changed to Ecolution:

@santorini  Thank you for the tip!  Do you have the 1 1/2 qt or 3 qt?

@rockygems123 I believe it's the larger size.

Re: silicone popcorn poppers

We have used every popcorn popper known to civilization.  We gave away a Stir Crazy today.  We have used these silicone poppers now for years and they are wonderful!

Hints:  Add 1 tsp or less water and 1 tsp or less of oil and stir the corn before popping.  Not necessary but try it.  Also, it seems to pop better if off center on the rotating plate in the microwave than in the middle--less apt to burn.

Celtic Salt is wonderful on it!  And we like Orvil's White Popcorn in the jars best!
