Re: returning of food items

Daysdee, I feel so bad that you weren't happy with Rastelli.  I found them to be very high quality and have always been happy.  I've also gotten many compliments from guests that I've served their burgers and steaks to.  That's good that you were able to get your money back, though.  I think that when vendors ship out huge quantities of food, it may be hard to guarantee that each and every order will be perfect.

I find food purchases to be the easiest since there is no out on trying the item. If you do not enjoy, you can call CS and get a refund. No paying shipping or sending anything back. I love it Smiley Happy

And what do you do with the food you didn't enjoy?

Hi - it depends on the item. If it was truly awful where no one would eat it, it would be disposed of. If it was something bland, I may finish it to try and flavor it up. Some nuts packages I got did not have any flavor, so I brought them to the office to see if anyone wanted them.

I had a problem (gastrointestinal Smiley Mad) with a food product.

I emailed CS, including all the code #s so, it could be checked out in case of a food safety issue.

I got a prompt credit and a reply that included "sorry you were disappointed" (getting sick is more than a disappointment!)

No comment as to whether the product would get checked out.

I discarded the remainder of the packages of the item.
