restaurant and cake recipe.

I recently found a strawberry cake recipe by, Very Vera. She's been featured on Bobby Flay's Throw Down show. I really wanted the Carrot Cake recipe, but the Strawberry cake recipe came up instead ( I love strawberries ). Anyway, I called a local restaurant that does specialty foods like, appetizers, entree's and desserts. I asked the baker/employee about making this cake for me. Lo and behold, she already had the same recipe! Makes you wonder...which came first, Very Vera or the Strawberry cake recipe? {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

She's also charging 1/2 the price of Very Vera's $50.00 price. I came close to ordering this from Vera's website. I guess it never hurts to shop around and compare prices. Not to mention it will be fresh and not crushed in the shipping.
