"Little David"

I nearly fell out laughing Sunday when David introduced his likeness in a doll he called "Little David". He was dead serious so I immediately figured this would be the next "David" product to emerge from the ITKWD workshop. Start getting your wish lists ready to fill your gift closet. Surely the garbage man, letter carrier, teachers and all your relatives will want one.

The question is, what do you do with it once you've obtained your heart's desire? Hang it from the light in the kitchen so Little David can watch your every culinary move, post him in the dining room to critique your meal service, invite him into the family room to observe your TV habits? Whatever option you choose, Little David (like Big Brother) will be watching YOU.

Believe it or not, David showed this thing, with its big blue eyes, with a straight face and did say it was not currently available but I figured we'd better get ready.

Does this seem a little bit creepy to anyone else? Reminds me of a Chucky Doll wannabe. Looked very similar but with an apron

must be the same item he hinted at on his Coffee Talk. I see no value to it but like everything else he sells it will probably sell out. Could be a cute stocking stuffer for the grandkids. Does anyone have a photo of the doll ?

@Kachina624 I want to say that "Little David" has been around quite awhile now.

& your right there is definitely a bit of a likeness to Chucky.

He held it up briefly but it would be hard to find since it wasn't an item presented. It was quite sizeable, about 12-18" I'd estimate.

i like David but he is another one whose ego has gotten out of control. I'm sure many hosts are snickering about this behind his back.

@Kachina624 Kathie Lee Gifford's reaction to Little David was hilarious. It really creeped her out. She shook his hand and said it was soooo cold. Not sure if David appreciated her humor about his little friend.

@Kachina624 I remember noticing it around last Easter as he had it w/bunny ears on so maybe it ended up being 18-24" - cute idea & the foodies on facebook during his shows sure like it.
