? on cleaning stainless steel appliances

Hello All,

It will be a few more years before I will be replacing my stainless steel appliances.  I have the type that is not "smear proof".  With that said, I am looking for a stainless steels cleaner that really works.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Right now I am using a product from Lowe's.  It doesn't work well, in fact using plain water and following up with a dry towel seems to work better (but is still not a great result).  Thanks in advance for your responses.

I use the disposable stainless steel wipes.  I get them at Farm & Fleet, but I have seen them  at other places too.  My SS appliances are brushed & don't show fingerprints.  No pets though.  One wipe every 2-4 weeks does the fridge, stove & microwave.

@jaxs mom  I have thought about using those but wondered if they left scratches or swirls

I use Windex. It doesn't streak and leaves it sparkling clean

I don't get why everyone wants SS appliances.  When I watch the HGTV shows people seem to prefer SS.  They are usually more expensive and show fingerprints more.  I'll stick with my white appliances.
