It is not just using UPS; I have selected the PO also and they sit forever in processing. When they finally arrive in my town, they get sent out again, to some other place, could be the next state or over on the other coast; THEN they come back to my town for delivery.

Whatever they have done, it has really slowed processing down by days.

After reading all of these posts about shipping, it seems to me that the shipping services are all set up so that nobody has to take responsibility. Crazy routing... delays... etc... it seems non-sensical.

I haven't had too much with QVC over the shipping but I did order three items and it was $9, no discount. Not too much delay (but we have had inclement weather here on the East Coast.

Even in this weather I still received my items from Amazon I ordered and on time.

Evine shipping is much better and I get items on the date requested (although they are a bit higher on some items), but Dimitri shipping is $2.99 today and that is good.

Not shipping may not have anything to do with ups. It sounds more related to the q or the vendor.

I hate to be so repetitive, but it's the truth - it's not about UPS. It's about the amount of time that QVC takes to process orders.

Generally speaking, and exclusive of perishable food items, they take 3-5 days 'in process'. Then they change it to 'shipped' and it's often ANOTHER 3-5 days before it ACTUALLY does ship.

UPS works just fine. But they cannot get it to you until QVC gets it to them.

Ding, ding, ding, ding! I totally agree. The problem is here.

I ordered a knife from QVC on Feb. 7th. Just got it on the 17th!!! When I tracked it, it was sitting in Elkridge, IN for several days---no movement. Then it went to a nearby city and sat again. 10 days is ridiculous. I just ordered a clone of yesterdays exercise bike that QVC had as the TSV. I ordered the clone on Amazon.com and it arrived this afternoon. Now THAT is good shipping and it was free with my Prime. Didn't even take the 2 days they offer for free. Just ONE day.

Not all items ship from the Q..at their physical location..but from all over the USA.....That is why so many people have to pay taxes on items bought, as if Q has a facility related to them in a state, you must pay taxes.....I recently ordered an item from HSN, and was being shipped from TN, and was noted to have already shipped, but they did notify me, by email, that the shipment was not going to arrive on projected date due to severe weather, and I was patient and understood, and was only a day late...BUT I knew it was going to be late, due to my notification.....{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

The processing time has definitely increased with the new shipping. I don't like it either. However, in a way it may be good because I've had a chance to cancel some things which I later reconsidered.

If they'd shipped as quickly as before, I would have received them. So, this is making me think more carefully about buying. I'd hate to get the dreaded letter about canceling to much!
