Are you talking about the 6 qt glass bowl? I chipped mine and emailed KitchenAid's customer service to ask about buying a new one. They covered it under warranty and sent me a new bowl at no charge.

Wow! My 6 qt Bowl lift only has a stainless one..I would LOVE the glass one- thanks for the tip!

I also have a metal bowl. I don't think I would want the glass one because I am way too clumsy.
