Yes, I'm a kitchen gadget/tool addict. That said, I saw this last night and just had to order it to see how it performs.

Over the years, Ive gone from regular gas oven to dutch ovens to rotisserie ovens, to vertical chicken cookers, to pressure cookers and lately to using the ninja 3-in-1 as my favorite way to cook chicken. Not even including outside grills and smokers which are out of the question with this winters weather.

I use various silicone vessels in the microwave all the time. Love my microwave egg boiler and my microwave fish steamer. Can't wait to see how this performs.

Those that have it, let us know what you think.

Enjoy!

This arrived late yesterday afternoon and after washing and drying them you know I just had to try them. All my chickens were frozen solid so I took a few fish fillets out of the freezer and soon had them thawed. Arranged 3 on one and 2 on the other. With a couple tablespoons of water in the bottom of each I added a little lemon juice over each fillet and on my three I sprinkled a little Ginger powder, Garlic powder and Ozark seasoning from Penzeys. Mrs Camo just wanted Ozark seasoning on her two. After 5 minutes in the microwave each came out perfectly.

A quick and easy test, but it passed that one with flying colors. Will try something more complicated very soon. I must admit, these are very similar to the microwave fish and vegetable steamers that I bought years ago in Kitchen Collection. These are about the same size but significantly deeper with a much higher cover.

Looking at them, I'm not sure our usual sized chickens will fit in them, but I'll be giving it a try. Heading to the supermarket later so I'll be keeping it in mind as I shop.

Enjoy!
