lack of response from vendors

Has anyone had the need to contact a vendor recently? I had a problem with my Vitamix and e-mailed them twice with no response! I also e-mailed Nuface about a problem and after writing twice, this was their response!!! YOUR PRODUCT IS OUT OF WARRANTY BUT TRY A NEW BATTERY!!!!!
