kitchen curtain advise

Trying to come up with some kitchen curtains only toppers for my new countertop match. My counter top is beige, black as main colors. Love it.. My kitchen table is wood with fabric beige chairs. Now my curtains. I really like roosters but not sure how to go , do I do plain black & browns or should I mix it up with some I saw with black with red accents? MY windows are about 23 wide 63 long so hard to make things look right. I do have one window over sink (shorter) and one larger window 38 x 63.I really like swags. I di goet some brown and beige large check curtains but to be honest just not into it. Don't want it to be too busy. Suggestions, please.
