kitchen aid mixer and beaters

we upgraded our tilt ka mixer to the 6 quart bowl lift mixer 2 years ago last year i broke the glass mixer bowl and replaced it then earlyer this year i ordered another 6 quart metal bowl. they should make metal and glass bowls the same size so beaters fit both bowls. i just received the flex edge beater in today  i ordered from kitchen aid. i told my wife that im going to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies. she said oh good. but im waiting for new beater to get here first. she said yea. but that could be tonight. it showed up like 20 minutes after i said that so cookies are made and very good.
