it just isn't Christmas without Plum Pudding

Christmas issn't Christmas without Plum Pudding. Not the junk you buy at the store. That ranks with fruit cake. My late husbands familys plum pudding dates back to the late 1600's. It is rich and loaded with fruit, spices and nuts. I make it in October for Christmas as it needs to age. It is served hot with a brandy hard sauce. this is NOT what yoy buy at a store! It is rich an very filling. And no there are no plums in it. Why the name I don't know but the family awaits it each year. 4 Green Frogs
