if i did take my mini keurig back for a larger size

which one to get and how do they work do you have to leave them pluged up all the time and can you just put 12 ounces of water in the resivor and it work . and do they have an eternal holding tank because i didnt wont one with an enternal holding tank and does the water stay hot all the time are it just gets hot when you go to make a cup of coffee thanks very much for all the help
