AFP - Kellogg Company has recalled millions of boxes of cereal over fears of contamination from metal fragments that fell off during manufacturing, according to a document filed with US authorities.
A company spokesman said late Wednesday the recall concerns some 3.2 million boxes of “Mini-Wheats” cereal sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The recall applied to Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size cereal with use-by dates from April to September 2013, according to a notice filed with the US Food and Drug Administration."
