finally used my 3qt instant pot

I got the BB8 designed one a few months ago and finally used it yesterday--not sure why it took me so long---anyway---did cubed spuds with eggs on top to make spud salad----worked brilliantly---not that the design has anything to do with it---but those eggs were done to prefection--no green ring around the yolk and the shell almost peeled off by itself----spuds were a tad mushy but I cut them smaller than I needed to maybe--took 4 minutes with a 4 minute natural release----but the small size was really great--ordered a few accessories to fit it. I have the 6 qt too that I use alot.

I've had mine since before Christmas and haven't used it yet.  I watch videos, look for recipes, read the instructions...I just don't seem to get the grasp of it.  Sigh.

Re: finally used my 3qt instant pot

@ScrapHappy---oh so very easy---you need to do a water test on it first--put a couple cups of water in it, put the lid on, push the steam button, set for 4 minutes then do a quick release----then do some eggs first---or cook some fresh green beans----the best way to cook beans, IMO. Lots of cookbooks for this size on the web. the thing is to halve your recipe for the big models, like  6 qt, but the time and cooking method stays the same. Really so easy.
