Corn on the cob always gets stuck in my teeth so I'll only eat it at home.  That and ribs are foods that I won't eat out.

The sounds of people eating as long as their mouths are closed doesn't bother me in the least.

When my MIL was in assisted living, there were many elderly people who had difficulty eating and some of what I saw was stomach turning for sure.  When I thought about it, it was still very gross, but those poor people were doing the best that they could.

Sounds like some people have Misophonia

I have never thought about that until I read this post. Just for fun, I am going to PAY ATTENTION the next time I observe someone eating it and report back😉.

Not enough conversation at meal time if this bothers people.

@RedTop"Hypersensitivity"?  Is that a real medical diagnosis or something you've heard about and decided to jump on whatever bandwagon there is.  If it is a medical diagnois, does your doctor have any treatment optios available?

It is a noisy food but (and I hate this phrase)....it is what it is.  I only eat it at home though and then it's only for a couple of meals.  I'm too lazy to cut it off the cob.
