comparing corning ware to Temptations

Sorry you all, but that is not comparing apples and apples. One is ceramic (TT) and the other is glass. Also the glass is much more expensive. I am a real fan of corning ware and still have some pieces from 1969 when I got married but the price of corning ware is much higher than TT so thus you get a better product. Some corning ware is still made in the USA in Corning, NY but they also manufacture in china - I bought sets of corelle dishes and the coffee mugs clearly say on the bottoms Made in china - and they are ceramic , not glass and most of them have broken when I pour hot liquids into them.
