Anyone ever make this, and if so, could you please share some hacks and tips using tea bags?

I drink hot (caffeine-free) chamomile tea day and eve, but am looking for a cold alternative since it's get warmer.

Thanks.   8-)

I've done this for years. I prefer the fruit or mint flavors of the herb tea but it doesn't matter the flavor. I make it the same as if I were making ice tea (the old fashioned method). I will add one extra tea bag than if it were regular tea and let it steep for two hours longer. Once it's at room temperature it can steep further in the refrig and then I just remove the tea bags when I pour my first glass.

If you like, you can make tea with one decaf teabag and one herbal teabag and you might like the taste better.

Harney teas makes excellent flavored teas, and Stash also has some great decaf blends and flavors as well as the camo!  The Harney sachets are great for making iced tea.

@Fressa

What about making a pitcher of it?

I enjoy the flavor and health benefiits, so I drink several mugs of it daily.

Also, do you have any idea how long it would safely last in the fridge?

I should have mentioned that when I make it that I make a pitcher at a time. I use the L&L pitchers (1qt & 2qt). It keeps as long as any other ice tea in the refrig.  I drink quite a bit of ice tea (flavored) so I'm thinking 4-5 days. If you want fruit slices with your tea then I would add those after you pour into your glass. If you place them in your pitcher you will cut the shlef life in half. That's just my opinion but I don't like those things to sit too long.
