@wagirl

I just got a larger size AF.  Aldi's has Honeysuckle turkey breasts on sale next week, and I wanted to try one in the AF.

Could you give some details on how you cooked it?

Temp?  How long?  Seasonings?

TIA!

Re: airfried a turkey breast---yum

I have made a couple of boneless turkey breasts in mine. I cooked them at 325, just used some poultry seasoning and some oil, cooked for close to an hour. The breasts were 3 pounds. The first time I put it in the rotating basket and it was great. The second one I cooked on the rotisserie and that was good, too, but it was easier in the basket. Have fun!

Thank you @Lisa now in AZ

I have a simple air fryer.  Manual dials for temp and time.  Just a basket.

I appreciate your help!

Gonna give it a try if I can beat DH to the bird.

He wants to smoke it...which is fab, but I want to try out the AF!

@RespectLife, that was my plan for my first air fryer and I got a Paula Deen one, but then I got hooked into getting one (ok, two!) of the air fryer ovens. You should be fine - just turn it a few times during the cooking, so it gets golden all over.

Re: airfried a turkey breast---yum

I want to do a turkey breast but need some info on the preparation.  Can you let us know the size of breast, time, temp, seasonings and if you turned it during cook time.  And what is the size of your air fryer?

Thank you @dex ...I could always google it, but it is nicer to be able to 'chat' with those that have experience.

I have found a lot of misinformation googling!

My first AF was a tiny 2 qt.  Only paid $30 for it!  Afterall, I didn't need another gizmo!  LOL

After about 2 testings, I was hooked.  I am on AD for the Heartland Chix and the AF is the absolute BEST way to cook those.  Just for that chicken, it was worth it.

I knew almost immediately I wanted a bigger.  DD will get regifted the 2 qt since she cooks for herself only.

I had buyer's remorse when I saw the oven ones on Q...but I am happy with just the basket 5.5 qt.  It is easy to keep in the pantry.

I will remember to turn it.

Thanks!

Re: airfried a turkey breast---yum

I haven't done turkey breast in my air fryer but I can see how it would be delish.  I bought mine, when an impulse buy, I didn't use it for a couple of months.  But when I did, I got hooked.  Love my guitless air fryer french fries and pizza.
