I have one.  I bought it months ago but I have yet to use it.  I fell for the hype and at the time, it didn't occur to me that we don't eat fried food.  So, since we don't eat fried food...we aren't going to eat it now just because it can be air fried.

I bought the one Eric sells--Power XL - 3/12 qt. size.  I love it and use it several times a week.  I've made steak, fish, hamburger patty, grilled cheese, pork or lamb chops.  I also use it to heat up a sandwich that I brought home from eating out.   Make casseroles and/or stuffed bell pepper type items and freeze them in small dishes to make one portion for dinner.  Cook in the airfryer and the only mess to clean up is to put the one dish in the dishwasher.  I highly recommend an air fryer.  I leave mine on the counter since I use it so often and if I had to dig in a cupboard for it, I would not use it.  (I have never made what they demo--french fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.)

I've been considering it too and I don't eat fried food.  But there seem to be so many other food items that can be cooked/prepared in an air fryer.

Would like to hear some brand names that people like and use.....

@Pooky1, I have the Power XL AF and love it, I use it 3 or 4x a week.  I do not and have never been a fried food eater. The AF is a small convection oven, I use it to bake, roast etc.  I cook salmon, pork chops, steaks, all veggies etc.  Anything you can make in your regular size oven you can cook in the AF.  Hope this helps!

Made boneless chicken breast last week...12mins.

Reheated pizza to a nice crispy crust....3mins.

Have made burgers and steak.

Mine is a Power XL and find it very useful.

I will add that with the Power XL clean up is a breeze,  Warm soapy water and it comes clean quickly.  If I cook an item in a dish, it is only the dish to wash.  For reheating pizza or sandwiches, it does it quickly and results are much better than microwave.

This air fryer is huge.  I can remember going to Good Earth Restaurant and ordering air fries many years ago when this method of cooking first came out.  They were so yummy and even then I usually didn't indulge in fries.  I've thought about purchasing a small air fryer just for the fries, but I make them in the oven from russet potatoes and they are the best!  I also have a convection oven.  So I don't really need another appliance in my kitchen (plus I can't think of anything except fries or veggies that I would make).  For those of you who order.....good eating!

I bought one a few months ago.  I finally can make my own crispy chicken wings without the mess and splatter in my regular oven.  That is monumental for me because cleaning the little air fryer is easy by comparison.  I also have made my own french fries for the first time ever.  They taste great from the air fryer and again cleanup is easy peasy.  That is all I have made thus far but I am glad to have one in the kitchen for tasty fast meals without a lot of prep and cleanup.  Mine is the Cooks Essentials 3.4 qt.

I have the Phillips air fryer.  Got it at Williams-Sonoma on one of their sales.  I mostly do vegetables and it's great for that.  Last night my meal was roasted brussel sprouts.  I think it took 13 minutes and they were very crispy.
