For Thanksiving, my favorite pies to bake are Pecan and Pumpkin.

For Christmas, in addition to our traditional cookies, I like to make mini cheesecakes or Snow Pudding.

Snow Pudding is an old recipe from the 50's. It is made with

plain gelatin, sugar and fresh lemon juice. It is whipped up and looks crystalline, like snow. It is served with a vanilla custard sauce. It is a very light, fluffy, lemony dessert.

My mother would make it for us and she insisted that it was made from snow!  My husband, who is 86, said that his mother made it too. My family loves it.

If anyone is interested, I can post the recipe for Snow Pudding

and for the vanilla custard sauce.

@Enufstuff Welcome!🥰 I am SO glad I revisited this evening because I am unfamiliar with snow pudding, and would LOVE❤️ for you to share the recipe with us!😁 When my children were young we would make slushies with snow.🙂

THANK you SO much for caring to share!🤗
