You get one episode to star in your own cooking show ...

What woud you name your show?

What would you cook?

  • appetizer
  • soup
  • main course
  • dessert

I've gotta think on it a little while before I post mine. I'm supposed to be resting a sprained ankle, so I'm watching Food Network and going a little  😜.

I'm counting on your responses to keep me entertained .

Thank you.

@Imaoldhippie

That sounds so delicious!  I love your menu 👍

@qualitygal

That's my kind of food.  The good old tried and true staples are my favorite, and I love the show names you both chose!

I think I'd call my show, "Keeping It Real" and I'd have a menu of everyday foods, yummy,  but no exotic ingredients.

wedge salad

cream of asparagus soup

Chicken piccata with roasted baby Yukon potatoes and fresh green beans

Mini strawberry shortcakes

@TenderMercies

I like the ethnic menu. My heritage is Italian American, though I don't cook a lot of Italian food.  Why?  I'm not sure, but if I were to have an Italian show it would be "Karen's Cucina" and the menu would be:

antipasto

Escarole egg drop soup

Rigatoni with sausage

Tiramisu

I would call it “Mixing Up A Memory” and have shows with parents and grandparents cooking with kids. My fondest memories are when I would cook and bake with my grandmother. Being in the kitchen with her was magical. So much time is spent these days on electronic devices, that people and families aren’t connecting with each other in the simple, carefree ways that I remember in my childhood. A lot more would be learned than just measuring and mixing. Passing on traditions and just being in the moment. I only see my granddaughter once or twice a year, so we always have a baking/cooking day. She looks forward to almost as much as I do.😊

I love this!  I hope FN is reading this forum, because I would watch this.  I didn't have a grandmother like that, but I look forward to being one.
