Good Morning Preds - Yep, Saturday got here quickly too did it not?

Pooky1,hopefully she will feel better. Sometimes treatments ARE more painful than the original problem but do hope she will be home quickly and feeling really good. Maybe today? At least they can make her as comfy as possible. Bless her - and you too of course.

Cannot believe this but I gather the little girl was really tired. She fell asleep yesterday at 6 and I was dreading that, Just knew she would be up and rolling half the night. She is STILL asleep. Have been checking her constantly and she is fine - she must have been really tired. I know sometimes little ones will do that and when she was younger she often would sleep long hours. Not recently however.

Seems we are always challenged in some ways aren't we?

The little girl and I had a quasadillo from Taco Bell - yummy for sure. Davey had some kind of a monster burrito - do NOT ask me what it was.

Beautiful day out west - back to more normal as the past few days have been. Sure hope that wet sticky stuff has gone away for the year. Longer but I will take a year. LOL.

Picking up Ricky early tomorrow a.m. and this house will then be jumping.

Picked up Ricky as I said early this a.m. I also implied the house would be rocking - boy howdy was I right. He was a pistol today. Geesh.

Little girl in her bed and am disappointed as she has been going to sleep the minute I put her in - not tonight. But her big brother Ricky is apparently almost asleep in his bed. Wonders never cease but sure want the little girl to go to sleep also - I am super tired.

We had pick-ups for dinner - I need to probably eat something. Did eat a piece of cake - not the best food in the world but it surely was among the tastiest - carrot cake. Hopefully will be also to get something fixed tomorrow for everyone. The little adorable girl is making noises in her bed - do not like that.

Got a tad warm today but it sure could have been a lot worse.

Nope, did not watch the eclipse - never have watched one of those things.

good morning everyone. maria came home last night from a 5 day stay in hospital. she will be getting stent taken out on friday. finally so that should make most of her pain go away. she has to be getting iv antibiotics at home for 3 weeks. to kill a fungus infection in her blood and urine. havnt cooked anything but her mom has been sending alot of food up. today she made a big lasagna for dinner and sending some up. hope everyone has a great day and winifred carrot cake is awesome.

@Pooky1 Did Maria get the infection in the hospital? I am glad she is home, but what an ordeal, made worse, I am sure, during the long wait for attention.

yes she got it from the precedures they think.and she got readmitted today. antibiotic she was getting she had a ellergic reaction to. she broke out in hives and her lips and tongue started to swell so shes back in again.they think she had a panic attack tonight. there checking other things .scared the ****** out of me when i saw it and everyone ran it to help her. its been a long 2 weeks. i thank everyone for all the suport we have gotten.

Pooky1. Your lovely wife is suffering way too much THEREFORE am sure it will soon STOP!! Bless her - and you - I find it so sad that so many suffer from things that should never have happened. I was in the hospital earlier this year - first time since 1969 - I was blessed as I had no problems from being there. I try to go to Urgent Care when I need medical help - not even my primary MD - just am far more comfy in Urgent Care. So far, - again - I have been blessed, Urgent Car has NEvER made a bad decision. Take my two little great great grands there also when they need fast help - never their Primary MDs. Everyone does it differently but it has worked for me. YOu must do what is best. Need to say however, the Urgent Care I go to is run by the medical group my primary MD is associated with so they always have my records - sure make a different. The little ones go to an Urgent Care near where we live - convenient and they are super good!!.xed a spicy pizza for dinner - Ricky had a hissy fit as it was a tad too warm for him. Davey LOVED it. Took the little girl to stay with Kerry as tomorrow a.m must take Ricky to his first dentist visit. Should be interesting. Say a prayer everyone. LOL.

By the way I could not eat that pizza either. Wow. Am a tad hungry so need to come up with something. I am super tired, told Ricky would bathe him in the a.m. and he is now playing a game on his IPad. He is good at it and he calms down amazingly well when he is on that. Me? Like I said - am very tired but may go and get some ice cream - need to wait however until Ricky hits the sack to quote my military background. Beddy bye for sure.

@Pooky1 Hospitals are scary for this reason. I once knew of a young girl who went in for something minor, contracted an infection, and lost all four of her limbs, horrific!

Poor Maria, I hope this resolves soon, it's a shame that people go to hospitals for care, and end of worse than when they went in, at times.
