When my kids were little I had one of these I think it was called "baby fry daddy" .... I think I used that fryer a zillion times. My kids loved French fries, mozzarella sticks, fried shrimp & more!

I ordered this one I hope it works as well!  I like small capacity for just the 2 of us when we're in the mood for French fries, etc.

Much better than using a big pot with a lot of wasted oil (I only use once).

I had one like that gave to Goodwill. To hard to clean the lid doesn't come off it's all one body hard to clean the oil out of it.

Thanks for the info - I thought the lid was removable. I'll give it a try cuz I don't fry often.

I just fry in a tall pot and use my candy thermometer.
