You all know I keep up with SMEG mixer prices. I checked QVC and 

wowee 600.00 plus 20.47 shipping , plus, tax, which for me would be 50 more bucks.

I'm so happy I bought mine back when !  all the colors they offer now are red, black and white.

just at 700.00  !!!!  Too much for a home cook. Bakeries can buy 4-5

gonna check HSN they used to have pink, blue, green colors.

@SharkE   I've seen the SMEG.  It's a lovely machine, but it would be a total waste of my money and even my limited counter and storage space.  

I have a beautiful cinnamon red KA stand mixer, so I hate to admit I've never made anything using it that I hadn't made just as well with the very old handmixer I bought for $1 in 1980.   I donated it when I dismantled my Long Island apartment in 2021.

cheaper at HSN 539.00 and they have more colors too boot.

@SharkE    I just looked at HSN -  Your price comparison was for 2 different models.   QVC and HSN both have the same $599. model   HSN does have others that are less money -  I didn't check QVC for them - I was just curious that the two companies would be offering exactly the same item at such different prices.  Not really.

Oh, I see, the 600.00 one comes with a meat grinder the 539 one is strictly for mixing.

I wouldn't want the grinder any way. Didn't know they started adding an attachment !

thanks for that information ! my mother in law used to make her own sausage she would have liked that.

I like Sam's usually all they have is big pies, though, just want the 8 in. ones
