I enjoy watching the Food Network show Worst Cooks in America hosted by Bobby Flay and Anne Burrell. I was wondering who won the Finale- Jamie or Amber? I missed it last night. Thanks in advance for any help.

I hope Jamie did. I haven't watched the night shows, but I've watched the weekend repeats.

Amber won - saw it later on last night. Both did very well, close ending.

Thanks author, I was hoping for Jamie too. I can believe it was close. So Bobby beat Anne.

Glad they both did good. Bet her daughter was surprised and proud.

It was really neck and neck- It seemed throughout the judging that Jamie's dishes were better received by the judges, so I was kind of surprised when they said "Amber", but both did SO well, and came SO far... It was a good season, in my opinion...

I was super happy for Amber. The risks she took with Bobby's menu, including her input, took her over the top. And though she underseasoned her bison, Jamie overseasoned his entre, which is worse than under seasoning. Jamie was also so nervous his hands were shaking during appetizer prep and maybe entre prep, so much so that he sustained 2 knife cuts. Previously during the show he had been pretty calm, under the circumstances, and really did quite well. I think one of the things that allowed Amber to plow through it all is that she has children. Anyone who has kids has already been through the mill.
If you haven't been able to catch the episode, I hope you're able to see it, as it speaks volumes. The two meals prepared by these two wonderful cooks were, I believe, the best finalist meals in this series. (I say this without having tasted them...)

I was rooting for Jamie, so was disappointed in the outcome.
Guess I couldn't get past Amber's unsanitary fingernails and constant reference to "doing it for my kids" (sorry, sfnative).

I have always enjoyed the Worst Cooks in America shows, but none moreso than this season. I was rooting for Jamie and Amber from the get-go, and was thrilled with their performance in the final show. I thought they were both winners just to reach the final competition, and they seemed to be beaming with pride in their accomplishments, which was indeed a very good thing. I think Chef Anne and Chef Bobby do a great job with these cooking novices, and look forward to many more of these shows.
