Re: Wolfie's little rice cooker!

Wow, that is a good price. I already have 2 & that is probably all I need. I would highly recommend it to  especially single or small households. I have used it all summer .I put in the ingredients , then go enjoy the outdoors then am ready to come in and lunch is ready. His mac and cheese recipe is great and to me & DH about as good as oven baked with a bit of crust at bottom without heating up the kitchen. I finally purchased the cook book and was happy with the purchase.

Can you cook rice-a-roni in it, or just plain rice?

I have this handy little rice cooker. I highly recommend buying the cookbook if they still have it in stock. It has a lot of really easy recipes for the rice cooker.

Re: Wolfie's little rice cooker!

That is a great buy!  Anyone with a child going off to college should get one for their dorm/apartment.

It is such a good item, I can't image they are totally discontinuing the cooker - and the book is already out of stock.  Do you think there is a new version of each coming on his next visit?  Both items have been strong sellers - it wouldn't make sense to just drop them.  But, I have seen strong best sellers dropped on all the channels with no explaination, so I guess it is possible.

Re: Wolfie's little rice cooker!

I am really hoping they will be coming out with an improved version (I don't know what they could do to improve it though).  I would hate to think that it's being discontinued . . . say it ain't so!  Smiley Sad
