Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

@MKR14  You are really putting me to shame with your exercising.  We have a great gym in my building and I renew my membership every year and that is the last time I even think about the gym.  Last year I even had a personal trainer, but then I got plantar fasciitis and now I really should go back.  Hope to do it soon.  Keep up the good work.

I made shrimp in my air fryer yesterday.  6 minutes and they were done.  They were quite large shrimp.  Smaller ones will be done in 5 minutes.

A whole turkey would be overkill here, @MKR14 , but I think the ability to do something that large is a good selling point.  Now, a roast chicken...yes ma'am!Woman LOL  By the time I get mine I'm sure all the details will be ironed out.  I may try to scooch the larger one, if I possibly can as I'd love the rotissery and fry basket options. Woman Wink

So good to hear that all's going well with the stint and healing.  Sounds like it's just what you needed and that you'll be good to go to really enjoy Thanksgiving and the holidays!  Woman Very Happy

I've been plodding along with the NG (and finding all my weak spots btwWoman Wink).  Graduated to the DVD and doing a 20 minute workout each day in segments I can handle.  Now that I know I like this gizmo, Evine's recent 20% off coupon went to an extra set of bands so I don't get left in the lurch if/when Evine decides to move on.  I don't see ever growing out of this one with all the resistance combos and it hits areas my Pilates machine doesn't.

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

Your shrimp sounds delicious Clem.

I made french fries and 5 chicken drumsticks coated in olive oil, Buck's seasoning (may be only a local brand here) and Rotisserie Chicken with no MSG in it and it's McCormicks brand. It's red and looks like paprika. The chicken drumsticks had crispy skin and tasted awesome. This is the first I had made them. I have fresh chicken wings I bought and put in the freezer. I have three really large drumsticks to make tomorrow at lunch. Have never regretted buying Emeril's air fryer. I cancelled Cook's Essentials larger air fryer due to only a 60 day warranty  and I bought Wolf gangs Oven.

Take care and have a great day. I have been playing the last few

hours with my Amamzon Echo I got last week on QVC. LOVE IT! I got the white. It is heavy and made well so not to tip over easily. Love the music feature to use. She doesn't know every question yet but will

eventually. Smiley Happy

I saw my Primary Care doctor and my A-Fib is still in sinus rhythm, the pains are gone, and the doctor said I looked fantastic for all my medical problems. I just keep a happy as I can. You need to have a good attitude as there are others wth worse medical problems than me. God's plan is to take me piece by piece not all at once! Ha!

I am starting my diet on Sunday and my exercises today as we have been gone part of the day. I won't lose only about 8 pounds as I see how fast I lost it a few weeks ago. Gotta leave a little meat on the bone. Smiley Happy

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

@GokatThe turkey will be overkill here too except I have grown kids that would take it off my hands quickly! Ha! Roast chicken or cornish game hens would be awesome with the 99 cent each (not per pound) fresh acorn squash from Aldi's. I went there today as it is about 4 blocks from our house and bought Toasted four cheese ravioli to try. It is in their new ad out now. I got 4 bags of cheddar Penquins (like the goldfish for kids). They are so fresh and delicate tasting. It says 52 are 120 calories. I only needed about 5 for each pill. I want to cut back on calories and this will help. to put up to take a few with my Eliquis blood thinner medicine and Flecainide( A-Fib medicine) as they mess with my stomach at night without something to eat.

Finally spend some quality time with my grandson and new wife from England. She loves it here. We had a pass the dish party last Saturday with 50 people and it was fun and to be able to eat was even more fun!

Proud of your hard work already on the Nano Gym. It was on twice yesterday so I taped it. I also had a  15% coupon and almost got the cords free. You are right-if they go out of business on the Nano Gym we are one step ahead. Smiley Happy

I love my new red Cook's Essentials roasting pan. Big enough for most anything for 2 people.

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

I'm such an Acorn Squash piggie here, @MKR14 .  Luv and can just imagine how delicious it will be done in the new Pressure Oven!  droolWoman LOL

I have an Aldi's just down the road here as well.  Toasted four-cheese ravioli sounds so good.  That's a great idea using the goldfish to drown out the meds.  I know I've always used saltines here, but the goldfish are even easier.

It's amazing how grateful we become after one of life's trials...realizing just how little it takes to make us happy.  You must have felt like a kid in a candy store with that huge variety!  Good for you, girl!Woman Wink

Darnitall!Woman Frustrated  I missed the NG shows yesterday.  Evine's really poor at listing all their vendors so we can be notified, but they sure send everything else!  I must ge half a dozen emails from them daily on things I could care less about.  Guess I'll go review the video.

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

Aldi's also has butternut squash and spaghetti squash as well as acorn squash ALL for 99 cents each not by the pound. I bought 8 and they last a long time in a cool place. Spaghetti squash is so expensive a pound. I love the acorn squash and it is awesome just sprayed with a little olive oil in the air fryer. I make spaghetti when cutting back on calories for myself as DH doesn't like squash. The air fryer puts a different roasted flavor on the acorn squash. Sooooo good! I can see us having lunch talking about our purchases. Smiley Happy

Our Aldi's is very clean and every one are friendly. The chicken I made today was from Aldi's and it was very fresh.

I almost missed the Nano Gym coming up on Evine yesterday and quickly recorded the two upcoming shows so I can sit and workout to them tomorrow. I am taking my sister with me to get her hair done tomorrow and we are going to visit my 80 year old brother. He no longer can eat or drink for the last 4 months and fed with a tube in his stomach. They aren't able to find a surgery to fix the flap in his throats and I think of him every time I eat now. If you have your health you have everything!

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

[ Edited ]

I received my Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven today. It came in perfect condition and is very well made. Anyone buying this needs to open the roasting pan box FIRST as this is where the booklets are.                              The accessories that came with it are sturdy and well made. No problems. Put the rack on the lowest for most things you cook. A hint for the rack-try the roasting pan empty and see if the large roasting pan slides in without hitting the side where the rotisserie slides in. If it hits the clip inside FLIP the rack upside down as it was in wrong. I did mine wrong and my DH showed me and laughed. The pan is 9"x 13".   The Oven heated up to 400 degrees quickly. I am going to clean all of it and run a while to burn off the newness. I am very pleased. You slide the level all the way down for Pressure cooking and but "leave up" in standard mode for regular cooking. When you make chickens you need to move to the rotisserie on the dial also. Slide the piece in to the right first when putting the chicken in and then connect on the left side. It will fit just a little tricky. The door "Will Not Open" until you have pushed the button on the right lower portion for safety in either position. That's a few hints to help you -if needed. 👍 Post if I can help.

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

@MKR14  I hope you are feeling well and have been enjoying your WP Pressure Cooker Oven.  Ever since it has been presented on air some years ago, I have been wondering how it works specifically about the steam.  Is there a container that you fill up with water to create the steam?  Or else, how does the steam develop?

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

How are you guys cooking the squash in the air fryer? I have a convection microwave and could do it in that. I love squash and the fiber in them. Thanks!

The turkey would be great for a get-together. We are a large extended family, but you could do a breast or some legs for just yourself.
