I have been dying to make chicken noodle soup .I have been waiting for it to get a little cooler.

I make big pots and freeze soup.  Mostly, I make these, but from time to time I make others too.

• Italian wedding soup
• Chicken corn soup
• Beef vegetable
• Hamburger vegetable
• Chicken pot pie
• Chili
• Ham and bean
• Tortilinni with spinach 
• Chicken noodle
• Potato soup
• Broccoli and cheese 
• French onion

My favorite is vegetarian chili and I make it with a can opener.

I was just with my daughter who had just made incredible homemade vegetarian chili.

 So I'll save the can for another time!

Tortellini sausage soup. It's an Italian vegetable soup that uses sweet sausage as the base and adds tortellini for the starch at the end. Sometimes I leave the tortellini out and serve it with crusty rolls or bread. It really hits the spot on a cold day!

Waiting for more cool weather. We had a few nice days.

We went back to the 90's. It was like a swamp outside this morning. It was 80° at 1 this morning when I went to bed.

@RedTop OH I love stuffed peppers cooked 'til the skins carmalize, and stuffed pepper soup.   And pea soup!  Crazy about pea soup--made it last week.  Try this one below!

Red Lentil BBQ Soup!  A short "recipe" here:  

• Red lentils, one pound;
• Left over pork bbq;
• 4 quarts of chicken broth and
• 4 quarts of water, more or less as needed;
• Your favorite BBQ sauce: a splash to taste;
• Salt and pepper.

Throw it all in the pot and boil, turn down to nice simmer!

The red lentils cook really fast, and you don't want them mush so read directions and start watching 12 or 15 minutes into cooking!!!!!  This was absolutely delicious--my recipe! Makes a huge pot full--may want to cut in half.  Just using what we had.
