@SharkEYou surprised me with that one!! Really? It's that time of year for All the holiday themes to come up. You don't have to watch the Christmas in July, or now even, but Christmas will be here before we know it. There are other channels to watch instead. HSN, Shop HQ (???)

I'm actually looking forward to ALL the holiday programs. It's a wonderful break from all the nastiness we hear everyday. Besides, they come and go too quickly.

If you don't like Christmas, for whatever reason, you can grin and bear it, or switch channels.

@SharkE - I'm not sure what you've been watching, but there have only been a couple of hours of Christmas programming on QVC for the past two weeks, and there's just one hour of it on Q2 today to kick off the Big Deal tonight. We're coming up on the 24th and 25th, so there will definitely be some Christmas shows then because there always are, but otherwise, we've just been inundated with fashion and beauty and not much else for the past several days.

We may like Christmas at Christmas time but not from July on. How about Halloween, Thanksgiving before Christmas. You must not celebrate Christmas for what Christmas is about.

@Mimi 1883  You may not have been trying to be sarcastic, but it definitely came off that way. Just give the “you can switch channels” part a rest in the future.

Why people keep recommending that over and over as if it never ocurred to the other person is beyond me.
