Why is Nutrisystem STILL being sold on QVC if the ratings are so dreadful? It doesn't make sense-The reviews are consistently poor (at best!).{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Maybe they signed a contract for so many shows or a fixed time period of marketing.

Frankly, the reviews do not matter as long as it is continuing to sell. Money speaks much more loudly.

People are desperate to lose weight this time of year. It's easier to try with a closely structured program than use the self-discipline to make better choices of real food. Also, not everyone reads the reviews. Anyone successful with this program will surely gain the weight back when they resume eating regular food.

Luv, "why" not post a better topic for your threads so people who are not interested can scroll on by? OK?

Why is Nutrisystem still being sold on QVC? A better question might be Why is Nutrisystem still in business? Check your labels. This stuff is no more nutritious or healthy than your average comparable item on the grocery store shelf. Yet it comes in dead last in taste.

why do they continue to sell Nutrisystem with the bad reviews...

we could ask the same question of many of the Q. products with bad reviews....

as long as it sells...they will continue to show it....and many people do not read reviews or even know there are reviews to read....

LOL, well I wonder about reviews anyway. All I know is my friend lost over 80lb on it and got her Diabetes under control, so it must be worth something.

People are too lazy to do the work on their own. They want everything measured and prepared so they don't have to do it.

Also, maybe more and more new people try it so if it keeps selling they won't care who gives it a bad review. I don't think they really bother with the reviews any way. Lots of products have been give a high rate of bad reviews and they still sell the product.
