We have the 6 qt AND the 3qt Instant Pot and we use the 3 qt. all the time. I am glad we have both!
We bought both of them at Williams-Sonoma I think when I had discounts. QVC is the last place I look for appliances most of the time.

@CLEM wrote:@Gemspirit An Instant Pot is a pressure cooker. It has these preset buttons and most of them are absolutely not necessary. All you really need is a pressure cook button, a saute/sear button, and perhaps a slow cook setting. Personally that's all I use because all you need.
I had a pressure cooker, but gave it away to someone who needed it. I have now been looking for a regular pressure cooker, but apparently they are all sold out or will be replaced by the new fancier ones. So I did order the one from QVC which has 7 settings and that's fine. I just ignore the ones I don't need.
Thanks for the clarification! A pressure cooker has never appealed to me at all. I used a slow cooker frequently when the kids were still home and I was working. It has a saute’ setting on it & made a great pot roast!

I use my pressure cooker all the time and without fail, they fail after around 3 years so I do not think my current one will be around much longer. It is starting to act weird so it’s time is coming. I did order the Instant Pot which is supposed to ship 4/14 - the price was good.

DH will see an item on an infomercial and I tell him to wait for it to show up on QVC, HSN, or Evine. New companies would fall all over themselves to get this exposure. Its us (meaning the customers) or Shark Tank. And people like Laurie bring some items here anyway.
Instant pot isn't a new item. It has been around for a while. Besides Amazon, they also sell them in Walmart so between them both that is plenty exposure. Not every company is falling over themselves to sell on QVC.

They even have had them for quite a while at Williams Sonoma.

@CLEM Thanks for the info. I have several pressure cookers in different sizes, so I don't need one.
