I laugh at people years ago by asking if the food smelled bad after they thought it did. It's like smell this, does this smell okay?  Smiley Tongue. Why would someone subject them to a horrible smell.?

es because the meat has been treated with co2 so the color of the meat does not change and you can keep it way past the expirtion date and not know it , The stores no longer have to tell you the meat [like hamburger] has beentreated to keep it fresh longer . The y are soon going to be passing laws that the stores will not have to tell you if the meat is from the united states or imported [prepack]aged] from ther countries Start buying organic meats .

I make it a point to buy meat that is ground right in the store, not shipped in those uniform rectangles.  Less chance of contamination,
