I didn't buy the 7500. I went with the 5200. It came down to cost. This is the best Vitamix 7500 comparison I've seen. It made me want the 7500 ... in hindsight I wish I would have gotten it.

I have seen it in action. It is quieter and the wider jar is nice.

This isn't an everyday machine for me, so I didn't care which one I got. To be honest, I don't even know, I just got one of the early TSV's. All I cared about was the Vitamix name.
