Re: Who uses a cover on their KA Stand Mixer?

I have a quilted black cover to match my black counter. It shrunk badly with cold water wash and air dry, so one of these days I will go on a quest to replace it. Its from KA, but I can't remember if I got it from them or QVC

I have a white quilted cover with black piping. I like it.

Keeps the bowl clean and away from dust. Same thing for the motor.

Re: Who uses a cover on their KA Stand Mixer?

I bought the Kitchenaid Cover in Red (my accent color is red) but I have the Prof 600 (575 Watt) mixer and the Cover is just a wee bit short It looks great though, and I love the pocket in the front. Great cover....

OH, and the reason I cover it is to keep it dust free so I won't have to wash it down before I use it... and to keep the dust out of the motor (as Soushi24 mentioned).

My first was a classic white. My current one is larger and the stainless color. I didnt cover either. I think the covers are uglty amd the mixer is attractive. I keep it out on my counter.
