Who's buying the lidia's polish mugs for that price?

They are pretty, but are they really worth $61 + change + s&h +  tax ? Plus, it's only for 2 mugs ?!?!  And I know I don't have to buy them. JMHO, though.

I thought that was a bit crazy, too. ....on par with a ridiculous $130 for a roast. LOL.

If it were the old line of Polish Stoneware they carried, yes, I'd consider it, but I don't care for what they have changed over to.

During the Holidays I might treat myself if I see something I love, but not for 2 mugs.

I think they're beautiful but I am a tablewear snob! 😄

I bought 2 14oz stoneware mugs earlier this year from a Colorado artisan and yes, this is about the price I paid.

At the farmer's market nice mugs are priced about the same as the Polish stoneware. In fact the one I liked was $35 plus tax.

Costco always has road shows of Polish Stoneware if that is what you like.

You sure they are MIC?

There was always a lot of discussion here about the differences in Polish stoneware.

Some makers were more coveted than others but all were made in Poland.

Don't forget that VAT is added to most European exports.

Or imported from Poland, which is where it's made.
