Who IS using their Kitchen Aid mixer to it's full potential?

I have had my KA stand mixer for about 8 years. It's the biggest and most powerful yet I have never bought any attachements. I saw a commericial today for the mixer and saw a lady making pasta. Has anyone bought any of these attachements, ice cream bowl, etc? How often do you use them and what for?
